Creating Through Chaos
I am grateful for the experience to share my art and my story. Here are a collection of photos I snapped at the reception of my 2nd featured art show at the Cypress Gallery in Lompoc, CA.

This show is for every version of me screaming at the same time: healed and unhealed, existing in parallel, layered like the torn edges of my collage art. I feel a thousand places all at once.
When chaos comes—whether internal or external—it’s strangely familiar, like strapping rollerblades back on that I rocked at 14. Destruction, grief, confusion… I know the dance. And I’ve learned how to make it art.
Creating Through Chaos is about transmutation. It’s about taking what’s stuck inside and letting it pour out—onto canvas, cardboard, bones or baby doll heads. It’s about turning discarded things into sacred heirlooms. You can turn toilet paper into a political statement or a giant owl head mask. You can build entire worlds out of what others throw away. (Cardboard is the best!)
This is a practice. A stubborn audacity. A daily ritual of turning pain into something else so it doesn’t rot inside you.
Harness it. Feel it. Make with it.
Let it unfold. Let it become.
Please create through chaos.
